Auto Parts Tech Day 2017
Title: Auto Parts Tech Day 2017 “Auto Parts and the Future Industries: Aerospace, Electric Vehicle, and Intelligent System”
Date: August 9-10, 2017
Location: Thailand Science Park (TSP), Thailand
Abstract
Thailand’s auto parts industry is the leading production base in ASEAN, which has continually growth rate for automotive manufacturing. The key competitiveness of Thailand has wide supply chain and close collaboration with Japanese automotive & parts makers. However, Thai manufacturers need to be promoted to develop their manufacturing process applying science, technology, and innovation. That makes Thailand’s auto parts industry can reduce the cost of production and increase the efficiency of competition in the current global situation.
Thai Tribology Association (TTA) has joined force with the Thailand Science Park (TSP), National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) to organize the AUTO PARTS TECH DAY 2017 in the theme of “Auto Parts and the Future Industries: Aerospace, Electric Vehicle, and Intelligent System” with the purpose of:
– Sharing technology trend to auto parts manufactures,
– Serving NSTDA and alliances technology services,
– Connecting services in the field of auto parts industry.
The targeted industries are those having high potential to enter aerospace industry and high-value markets, fostering R&D, technology and innovation for value addition, and being able to expand production capacity and to invest. TTA and TSP will be major forces in promoting and supporting technology transfer from both domestic and international experts, collaborating in R&D, and continuously assisting in testing and standards certification.
