The Malaysia-Japan Tribology Symposium (MJTS) has been held annually since 2012, in collaboration with the Malaysian Tribology Society (MYTRIBOS) and the Japanese Society of Tribologists (JAST). Originally known as the Malaysia-Japan Tribology Meeting, this symposium promotes communication among researchers, engineers, and students in tribology from both Malaysia and Japan. MJTS 2026 will be held from 27 to 29 July 2026 in Menara Razak, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur.
